1969 2003 (impromptu reunion)

After graduating from Dover H.S., I attended the University of Virginia (B.S./Chemistry) and University of Wisconsin (M.S./Physical Chemistry). My first professional job was a crime lab analyst in Madison , WI . I would probably still be there today if it wasn’t so damn cold in the winter. Subsequent jobs at environmental testing labs resulted in moves to Seattle , Tampa and Atlanta . After that, I switched to consulting firms in Texas and became involved in technical oversight of environmental cleanup projects at EPA Superfund sites and Air Force bases (I lived in Houston and San Antonio ). I moved to California in 1993 and have been employed by a large company (Jacobs) that performs environmental investigation (drilling/sampling) and remediation of soil/groundwater contamination at military bases ever since; I manage the chemistry and quality assurance departments.

I have lived in Sacramento , CA since 1995 and am single with two cats. I enjoy cycling, volleyball, hiking and yoga, but my passion is scuba diving. I have been diving for almost 25 years and travel to some exotic places around the world (including Thailand , Indonesia , Tahiti , Palau , Seychelles , Solomons and Galapagos Islands ). I find diving to be the ultimate escape; both exhilarating and relaxing, it is an adventure that must be experienced to be appreciated, comparable to space exploration (and these days airline travel is almost that difficult).

I return to Dover occasionally to visit my sister, Linda (Class of 71), who is married with three kids and four grandkids.
