Here we go, forty years in a nutshell.

I came to Dover from Clark American School in the Philippines in '67 - never really fit in - was one of the strange hippie types. Graduated in '69 and left for Oklahoma soon after. Hated it there. Came back to Dover and lived with a bunch of different people (one landlord called us a "nest of hippies"). Stayed around Dover (married a guy from Brooklyn, N.Y. - later divorced) until '74. Moved to Phoenix - stayed there until 1980. Lived with a guy I knew from the P.I. - we eventually married and had three great kids.

The children are grown up now. Amber is 30 (does event planning and P.R.) and she just got married. Barry is 27,a geologist, self taught musician and lives in Nashville. Bret is 22, played a lot of soccer in high school & college, and is an aspiring actor currently "finding himself" in Montana.

I went back to college in 1982 and got a BFA in drawing and painting. Got an alternate route teaching certificate and have been teaching Art and Ceramics at Columbus High School in Columbus, Mississippi, for the past 19 years!! I love to travel (especially to Italy), go to Blues festivals and enjoy the SLOW pace down here.
